About Toolgrove

Why it exists

Toolgrove makes small, fast, free tools for practical problems — beginning with international addresses and shipping calculations. It was born from a simple observation: cross-border e-commerce keeps growing, but the basic tasks around it (writing a Korean address in English, predicting a courier's dimensional weight charge) are still solved by digging through forums.

How the tools work

Everything runs in your browser. The Korean address converter implements the Revised Romanization standard with official spellings for administrative regions; shipping calculators use the published divisors and container volumes of major carriers. Nothing you type is sent to a server.

Who runs it

Toolgrove is designed, built and maintained by an engineer based in Seoul — the same maker as Time by City — as an independent project: no investors, no data brokers, no accounts.

Corrections

Address conventions change and romanization has edge cases. If a tool gets something wrong, tell us with the input you used — fixes usually ship within days.
